Hello, and thanks for stoppin’ by.

I have spent over 50 years of my life singing and performing and it has brought great joy to me and  many friends and fans . . .  you too I hope. A new page is turning in my life, and I want to share it with you. On December 19, 2019,  my wife and I asked God to use us. “Please direct our paths and lead us into a life of service”. That night I had a dream about someone calling out song titles and I couldn’t make them out. Finally I got one, “And The Grass Won’t Pay No Mind”.  A few more were called out that I couldn’t quite get . . .   and then again . . . “And The Grass Won’t Pay No Mind”. I woke up and told my wife about the dream. “Why don’t you look up the song and see if a word or phrase catches your attention. Don’t worry about the whole song.” So I did. She had to take our granddaughter to school while I did the homework. When she returned she said , “I get the feeling in my spirit it’s gonna be the first line”.  We looked. The first line was . . “Listen easy, you can hear God calling . . . ” It had nothing to do with the rest of the song but everything to do with our prayer. We had never heard the song. There was no reason for me to choose that song. We were sent to that song to receive a message from God. “Listen easy Linda and Pete . . . I will be guiding you”. It has changed our lives. We will be dedicating ourselves to our work and finding a way to include His messages where ever they fit and can help. I have paid tribute to Elvis in my work for over 50 years and I will continue to do so, but I will be careful about my song selection and I’ll add my gospel songs when I can.

Elvis’ legacy is not Hound Dog and Blue Suede Shoes, it is his love for Gospel music and his love for Jesus. The greatest rock singer of all time never won a Grammy for his work in rock . . . it was his Gospel music. When called “The King”, he would say, “There’s only one King and that’s Jesus.” No other rock star has been so gracious or spiritual. This is the boy they called vulgar in 1956.

There is a famous picture called “Honoring the Point”. It’s a hunting dog pointing to another hunting dog pointing to “The Bird”. I would love to be remembered as the singer pointing to the singer pointing to Jesus. I’m just Pete . . . but you have been kind enough to recognize my work and come to see me. Please allow Linda and I to share our love for Jesus with you and offer you the same opportunity to find salvation and eternal life. He is the Son of God and He is the path to God and everlasting life.

I have two songs to share with you that spell out my heart and words to you . . . “Long Walk With Jesus”  and “Forevermore”. They are in my original music under Gospel Songs. Please enjoy them, they are for you. I don’t really feel like I wrote them, they just kinda came through me.

“Listen Easy . . .You Can Hear God Calling ” . . . That was an answer to our prayer but we would like to share it with you. God is not a respecter of persons He loves you too. He is calling all of us.
